Prime Recognition Service Price List

Service Description: Instead of installing and maintaining your own OCR software, you can outsource the OCR portion of your project to Prime Recognition. We use the most accurate OCR software available, PrimeOCR, to perform OCR on your documents. PrimeOCR is Voting OCR software that reduces the amount of OCR errors by 65-82% on average vs. the best conventional OCR engines.

Images can be TIFF, PDF (single or multi-page), JPEG, BMP, fax among many other formats. Resolutions accepted include 200, 240, 300, 400, 600 DPI as well as standard FAX. (Or we can scan documents from paper, call us for pricing.) Manual operations such as page zoning and post-OCR verification are not included in the following prices and must be quoted separately.

Required Charges
-Setup Fee	An initiation fee for every project. Any change in the configuration of a project also incurs this fee.	$500.00 One Time

* These are typical charges for a 1,000,000 (million) page "no rush" job. Costs can vary according to characters on page, quality of images, amount of preprocessing selected, etc. Pricing is higher for projects of less than 500,000 pages or "rush" jobs. Page with less than 1,000 characters may receive a discount.

Output: A text file is generated for each image and is stored in the same directory (or equivalent directory structure) as the original image. The file name is the image name with a ".txt" (ASCII, Formatted ASCII output), ".pdf" (Portable Document Format), ".pro" ("*.PRO" output), ".rtf" (RTF output), or "xml" extension.
