Prime Recognition's award winning production software has been updated to include additional options and improve integration with third party software.

New features in PrimeOCR version 3.9 include:

• Support for reading PDF files - Provided as an optional feature, PrimeOCR can now read all different types of PDF files (image only, image plus hidden text or normal).  PDF image only files can now be OCRed to include searchable text.  PDF image plus hidden text files may be re-OCRed with PrimeOCR to improve character accuracy to improve search and retrieval results.

• Automated Generation of PDF bookmarks - When generating PDF output, PrimeOCR can now automatically generate bookmarks within the PDF output file.  Implementing automatic bookmark creation reduces labor costs associated with manually creating bookmarks and saves on overall processing time.

• InputAccel 4.0 support - With tighter integration into InputAccel, PrimeOCR continues to provide full support as a certified InputAccel module including providing support to read PDF input files and generating PDF output.

Higher OCR Accuracy through “Voting” Technology
